I Declare WAR For our Kids and Youth!

We as parents and God's chosen have a huge duty before us.Satan is after kids at an alarming rate now more than ever.We have got to quit sitting on the sidelines holding our hands and saying oh I've got time. We don't have time! Satan is standing waiting for us as parents to let our guard down so he can swoop in and get them with his knieving sneaky ways.He won't hold back he will use any and everything possible to take them from us.I declare war for my kids and all those who don't have parents that care.Now is the time to put on the whole armour of God like never before and get on the front lines.He's coming at our kids in church at a fierce rate and we have got to protect them ,because no one else will. We have got to take time for the kids of today instead of saying were to busy.The child next door could be silently abused and hurting .The kids at school come there every day and there is no telling what they have been thru the night before.So please take time too smile,or say a kind word to kids or youth everywhere you go.They are hurting ,hungry, searching for love that they don't get at home. We as Christians have a duty to provide those things .That is what the church is suppose to be about.I'm from a home with an alcholic father and I know how it is to go to school every day and put on a smile no matter what Hell I'd been thru the night before,but i was hurting inside, and no one knew it . I was embarrassed of my home life and didn't want anyone to know.There is no telling how many of our kids in today's society do the same thing. Thank you Jesus that my mom took me and my brothers to church. But most kids and youth don't have that ,That is why they are drinking ,doing drugs,and having babies at 12 years old.Just this last week a young girl in my church was told by a boy at school that his dad makes him sell drugs there,he is only in 5 th grade.If that don't shake you then what will?I believe he came to her because he know she goes to church she is a light there and I believe he was asking for help in the only way he knew how.They are hungry searching for something to fill the whole in their heart but it never does only Jesus can do that.We need God back in our schools that was one of the biggest mistakes ever made. So I'm making this plea for the kids and youth of today please take time for them if you don't have kids or grand kids of your own find some whether they be neighbors or friends kids.They need us to stand in the gap and pray for them .We need to do more outreach .That is one way we can bring them into the church and introduce them to the greatest thing they will ever need JESUS. I've used the excuse before that I don't have time but what if GOD told us that next time we are hurting or need him to do something.What a scary thought.We are the labourers in his vineyard and they are ready for us. Just remember the youth may get mad and say you are nagging ,but some of them just want to see how much you care by the effort you put forth.I don't want to stand before GOD on judgement day and him tell me that i let some fall by the side because I didn't have time.We have got to get a burden for them and encourage them and lift them up.We have got to be sensitive to the Spiritand wha God is telling us to do.When they come to your church off of bus ministry please don't say what bad kids they are.If you take time to nurture and love them and get to know them you can let GOD use you to HEAL them. They just need love and attention.Please get involved at your church or find a church it's the most beautiful and rewarding thing you will ever do.So will you help me WAGE WAR against satan for them? I sure hope so .May God bless everyone who reads this with a new fresh burden and hunger for our kids and youth of today.In Jesus Name.

Thousands Elsewhere

Better is one day in your house. Better is one day in your courts than thousands elsewhere. There is no place I'd rather be. There is nowhere else you can find such soothing peace in life's raging storms than in the house of GOD. He is my comfort, shelter, warmth, light at the end of the dark tunnel, Jehovah-Jireh (my provider), father,counselor, teacher, and most of all my friend.There isn't really enough words to describe all he has been for me. My life hasn't been a bed of roses, but as long as I've held on sometimes by a string he has carried me. There is truly no place I'd rather be than in his Presence.
